Lifeguard Ambulance Service of Tennessee, L.L.C. in Chattanooga is a dedicated, medical transport company that provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance transports to several communities in the Greater Chattanooga area, including 911 Emergency Services to the residents of East Ridge and Dade County, Georgia.
Lifeguard- Chattanooga employs approximately 115 local EMTs, paramedics, supervisory management and administrative support staff, responding to approximately 10,000 calls per year.
Lifeguard features Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) transport services, equipping ALS units with 12 lead cardiac monitoring, Pulse Oximetry Portable Ventilators, CPAP and Stryker stretcher systems in a variety of configurations, including MX Pro Bariatric. We feel our medical teams, paramedics and EMTs are the very best in the industry and maintain that excellence with continuing education and training programs. The Chattanooga and Dade County operations participate in giving back to the community through several different outreach and educational programs. Please call the local operation for more information.
One staple community program Lifeguard offers is Home for the Holidays. This program is offered to the patients of the area's skilled nursing homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Needy residents are taken to their home via ambulance or wheelchair van, so they may spend this special time with their families.
