Santa Rosa County received its CAAS accreditation from the Commission on the Accreditation of Ambulance Services at the end of August this year. During a special pinning ceremony, Lifeguard team members received their CAAS accreditation pins. The ceremony began with the Star Spangled Banner and continued with words of encouragement and gratitude from several members of Lifeguard's leadership team, including John and Deborah Roche (owners), Dr. Kim Landry (medical director), Jason Kimbrell (regional director of operations), and Shawn Bradberry (operations manager). The CAAS application process was very intense and detailed and was a team effort involving local and corporate Lifeguard team members.
Lifeguard's special projects manager, Robert Sims, managed the CAAS process for Lifeguard-Santa Rosa. In the picture above, Lifeguard's owners, John and Deborah Roche, presented Robert an award that expressed their gratitude and appreciation for all of his hard work and leadership during the CAAS process.
Robert was the project leader, but the accreditation also involved participation and help across the board. Team members had to help gather all of the requested information and be prepared to answer questions during the interview stage of the process. Pictured below are some of the team members receiving their accreditation pins.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED MAKE THE CAAS ACCREDITATION A REALITY!! A SPECIAL THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO ROBERT FOR LEADING THE TEAM IN THIS SUCCESS.
