Lifeguard joined the Lake City/Columbia County Chamber of Commerce late last summer. In January, Lifeguard participated in the official Chamber, ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ribbon-cutting was held at Lifeguard's new administrative building on Duvall Street across from the courthouse. The event also doubled as an open house for the new administrative building, open to the community. Lifeguard had a pretty good turnout of community members, local business owners, government officials, and hospital leadership.
Lifeguard also participated in the Chamber of Commerce's "Chamber Weekend" as a bronze sponsor. The weekend consisted of a golf tournament, the Chamber Ball, and a silent auction. Lifeguard's golf team placed third in the tournament that included 120 golfers.
Lifeguard is excited to be a part of the Chamber and for the opportunity to participate in more local activities.
