crawfish boil

In appreciation of our employees and customers, Lifeguard-Birmingham hosts a crawfish boil and cookout every year. This year was by far the best one yet, with over 200 people in attendance. Along with Lifeguard employees, there were employees (and their families) from several of our customer facilities. Some of the facilities that had representatives in attendance were St. Martin's in the Pines, Trinity Medical Center, UAB, Mt. View Healthcare, St. Vincent's Medical Center, and BMC Princeton.

Owners, John and Deborah Roche, helped cooked hamburgers and hotdogs, while COO, Brett Jovanovich and his wife cooked 7 boils of crawfish and veggies. Throughout the night, guests could be found huddled around the crawfish table, where they received crawfish-peeling lessons or tested their spicy-food limit.

Lifeguard's own Fleet Maintenance Director, Jimmy Musso, entertained the guests with live music throughout the night. While the adults enjoyed the good music and conversations, the kids played games and ate snowcones.
