In 2017, Lifeguard started a new tradition, honoring a member of the leadership team with the “John and Deborah Roche Executive Leadership” award. The committee that established this award did so unbeknownst (at the time) to our president, as he was selected as the first recipient last year. Having served in multiple leadership capacities at Lifeguard and truly representing Lifeguard’s mission and core values, Brett was a great choice for the inaugural award. This year, Brett had the distinct pleasure of recognizing the 2018 award recipient.
We are truly blessed to be surrounded by an excellent group of leaders. Nevertheless, the recipient of the award must meet one or more of the specific criteria outlined below and is selected through an internal nomination process:
Our leader chosen this year has been a member of the Lifeguard team for more than five years and has demonstrated a strong performance record in leading his operation. Despite recent dynamic changes, this leader consistently leads his team with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset. He leads by example, thus earning the respect of each of his employees. Often times, this leader can be found on an ambulance transporting patients at all hours of the day, night, and even weekends; he has logged countless miles transporting patients by ground across the country. He truly embodies what it means to be a Lifeguard leader.
Congratulations to our 2018 “John and Deborah Roche Executive Leadership”
