Q: How may I apply for employment at Lifeguard?
A: Lifeguard utilizes an online application process; all current openings are listed through our Career Center. If you do not see an opening in your area, please continue to check our website for updates.
Q: I hold my national registry certification; do I still need a state license?
A: Prior to applying for an open position, Lifeguard requires all applicants to obtain the EMS licensure for that state. Each state has specific guidelines regarding EMT and paramedic licensing; it is best to contact the applicable state EMS office directly for a better understanding of their requirements.
Q: How do I know what my insurance covers or what my financial responsibilities are as a patient?
A: Each insurance company and each plan is different. Therefore, we recommend that you contact the customer service department for your particular insurance; contact numbers are typically located on the back of your insurance card.
